Sited in Pontcanna, Fish at 85 is the first retail venture of Channel Fisheries, fish suppliers to the Royal Household and a number of the UK’s top restaurants. From Fish at 85’s base in Pontcanna they rather cleverly run three businesses in one, wholesaling fish to other restaurants in Cardiff, running a fishmongers and a rather charming 20 cover restaurant. The menu focuses exclusively on fish with a couple of veggie options. Opening times 12pm-3pm and 6pm-10pm

Y Mochyn Du

Named after a popular (and slightly irreverent!) traditional folk song from West Wales. Many versions exist – one of which is to be found framed on the wall inside! In days gone by, every farm in rural Wales would own a pig. And it was the pig that would provide valuable sustenance through the long winter months. The pub provides sustenance for customers from the green pastures of our country using locally sourced products wherever possible, delivering quality, tasteful food at reasonable prices.

The Conway

The blackboard menu offers classic pub favourites, daily seasonal specials, mixed in with our chef’s own quirky dishes, whilst the bar serves a selection of guest ales and a great wine list that is available by the bottle and glass.The Conway team is delighted to be Cardiff’s only entry in the Michelin Pub Guide for the second year running.
