Access Statement

We are a family run hotel; here you can expect the warmest of Welsh Welcomes.

Lincoln House built in 1900 is a Victorian Town House. Whilst this means we have inherited some beautiful architectural details it also means that the structure of the building on the higher floors may present some physical barriers to accessibility as no lift facilities are available. However we do have ground floor rooms which are suitable for wheelchair access.
If you have any special needs or special diet, we would be very happy to assist with your requirements as best we can.

On Arrival:

Drop off at front of Hotel. To reach the main front door path ways are on one level. On approaching the Main Entrance there is a 3 inch step where an intercom bell is situated on the right hand side, approximately 4ft 6 inches above floor level, the half glazed front door which is 35 inches wide, can also be knocked. On entering house a brass 2 ½ inch step leads to the Hall-way (34 inches wide) and before reaching reception there is a door 31 inches wide which is all on one level. All areas are very well lit with mosaic floor tiles.

Car Park

There is private car park at the rear of the Hotel, with a back entrance to reception; this entrance would not be suitable for wheelchair access.

Ground Floor

The reception, lounge, dining room doors width 30 inches, private residence bar width 27 inches are located on the ground floor which is all on one level with no steps. Staff available 24 hours, for any assistance.

Ground floor Bedrooms

There are 4 ground floor bedrooms 1 of which is suitable for wheelchair access. Room 101 suitable for wheelchair access. Entrance to bedroom door width 31 inches and the width for the bathroom door 23 inches. Bath height 20 ¾“ and depth 16” with shower over the bath, with handrail installed, bathroom is fully tiled rubber bath mats supplied. Standard wash basin and toilet. The room can be used as a twin or king size double.

1st & 2nd Floors

All bedrooms on this floor are accessed by stairs with handrail on right hand side running all the way up to each floor with several narrow corridor’s and doorways. All rooms vary in size and style and we will always try to match rooms to guest requirements.

Bedroom facilities

All bedrooms are en-suite with enclosed shower cubicles or bath & shower over bath; non slip mats are available for baths. Rooms have fitted carpet, centrally heated, with all the facilities expected by today’s guests.
